Take care when administering flea treatments, especially for cats. We have recently dealt with a case of two lovely young sisters who had been treated with the dog version of a shop bought flea treatment. Both sisters started to tremble, salivate and vocalise very quickly which eventually culminated in both suffering from life threatening fits.
Fortunately the owner of these cats quickly realised her mistake and the cats were treated quickly, after four days of treatment both made a full recovery.
